Tansi (Hi) and welcome. My practice is guided with a strengths-based approach, we will focus on the things that are working(strengths), and build on them. I also have a client centered approach to therapy, meaning that you are the one steering our therapeutic ship and doing the work, I am just be the guide. This approach to therapy also means we do not have an agenda, the only pace we follow is yours. This is hard for some who are used to a more Western approach to therapy. It has been my experience, that we all possess the knowledge and skills we need to solve our difficult situations, often we just need a few tools.
I have worked with some of the more common therapeutic approaches in my practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral , Dialectical Behavior , Solution Focused , and Psychodynamic theories. With that said, I only use these at the request of my clients.
